OlympiCS is a one-day event where all computer science affiliated students come to compete in a field day full of prizes and cs-themed games.
No! OlympiCS is a field day for computer science affiliated students. While there will be some cs-themed games, there will also be plenty of other games and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Teams must consist of 2-4 people. All members must be affiliated with the computer science department, which includes undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty.
Yes! There will be plenty of food for everyone.
Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, as there will be plenty of outdoor activities. Also bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, as the event will be held outdoors.
Yes! OlympiCS is completely free to attend. All food, drinks, and supplies will be provided.
We have a rain plan! If it rains, or there is any other bad weather, we will move indoors to Saloon C. An announcement will be emailed to all participants if this happens.
If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can give your spot to someone else.
Yes! If you signed up individually but would like to be on the same team as your friends, please email us at jhuacmofficers@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Once you have signed up, you will receive an email with more information about the event a few days before!
